Euan has over 10 years of specialist employment law experience, acting within both private practice and industry.  He is particularly focused on developing relationships with retained clients, so he can provide advice tailored to the specific needs of each business.

Euan has much experience, in assisting with the full gambit of employment law related queries, whether that be; day to day advice, the drafting of new Contracts/Handbooks or Tribunal representation.  He has also appeared in Employment Tribunal Hearings, both north and south of the border, defending various claim types (including unfair dismissal and disability discrimination).

As with all our advisers though, Euan is always keen to try to manage situations in a way which hopefully avoids the Tribunal system (wherever that is possible).  That might mean a more hands on approach, e.g; during internal procedures, but with the likelihood that the risk of (successful) claims will have been lowered.

Euan hails from Edinburgh and spends his time between Edinburgh and the capital of the Highlands (Inverness)!  A keen sports enthusiast, he previously played alot of Football and Cricket, but now spends much his free time working on his golf handicap!  When the time allows, he is also an outdoor enthusiast, and likes to bag the odd munro!
