Workshop & Action Plan
Our compliance workshops will provide delegates with a clear detailed picture of the legislation and how it can be applied in a practical way. Delegates will leave with a compliance action plan on the specialist topic and also learn about any other support and reassurance we can provide.
Content
Have you got everything in place for 25th May 2018? The Information Commissioners Office is in the process of recruiting around 200 extra staff in preparation. When we searched on “Data Protection Officer Jobs”, 46,500 results popped up. You may not need a new separate DPO role, but you do need to ensure you understand and are fully compliant.
In addition to an overview of the Regulations we will also cover the following issues:
- How to decide who is the processor and controller.
- The legal basis for processing, controlling and storing personal data.
- Privacy notices.
- How to avoid and deal with breaches and deal with third party suppliers.
The workshop will help you understand what you should be doing now to comply with the Regulations. The session will be interactive with opportunity for delegates to share relevant queries and come away with an action plan and a list of documents you need to have in place.
