Jayne is a highly experienced HR professional with over 30 years’ experience in the private, public and Not for Profit sectors. She has multi-site and international experience working across 4 Nations, as well as Europe.  She has worked in the private sector for Phillips Electronics specialising in ER before joining two London Local Authorities as HR Manager for 11 years working extensively on TUPE initiatives and ER.   She then moved into the NFP sector for 13 years as an Assistant HRD at The Royal British Legion leading on corporate strategic initiatives, as well as managing TUPE transfers including Poppy Scotland, as well as outsourcing care homes. She worked as Head of HR at the British Medical Association for 3 years responsible for delivering and providing high level professional HR services.  Latterly, she has been the HR Lead for outsourcing a 999 service to a tri partnership arrangement.

Jayne has experience of working with the NMC, CQC, NSPCC and ISA on matters relating to vulnerable adults and children, including presenting at Fitness to Practise and safeguarding panels.

Jayne holds a postgraduate diploma in Personnel Management and is level A and B qualified in psychometric testing for recruitment.

Jayne’s strengths lie in providing commercial and pragmatic solutions in all aspects of HR and governance areas ensuring compliance within legislation.  Her ability to work with key stakeholders is impressive particularly with complex trade union matters.

In her spare time Jayne is an Enterprise Advisor for a local secondary school providing voluntary advice and guidance to teachers and professionals on supporting students with an insight into what employers are looking for in terms of skills, qualifications and interpersonal skills.  Whilst not based in Scotland, she is a regular visit to Ballater seeing family and loves to travel international – Covid permitting!
