Kelly is the most recent arrival to the employment law team. After achieving her law degree at Robert Gordon’s University, Kelly underwent her legal traineeship and qualified with Davidson Chalmers in 2015. She subsequently worked with well-known law firms Anderson Strathern and Macroberts and along the way also experienced the legal services model at Scottish Engineering and Xact.
Kelly is a Member of the Law Society of Scotland Committee on Administrative Justice and through this role has taken part in a review of Employment Tribunal practice and processes.
Kelly has advised and supported across a number of sectors and has a particular understanding of the hospitality, care and engineering sectors. While at Xact, Kelly was the only practising solicitor and so her employment tribunal experience is significant. However, it isn’t just court time that Kelly enjoys; she is equally at home drafting handbooks and contracts as well as the general day to day advice required by all employers.
Kelly is Navigator’s champion on our Mindful Business Charter group and so she is keen to recognise and support mental health issues in the workplace.
Originally from Fife, Kelly now lives in Glasgow’s West End and enjoys socialising as well as trips to the gym.
