Health & Safety

Health & Safety – Site supervisor fined after asbestos exposure at primary school

A construction site supervisor has been fined after they exposed pupils and staff to asbestos fibres during renovation works. An investigation by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) found the supervisor failed to follow asbestos awareness training, and also clear instructions not to disturb a wall where an asbestos containing material was presumed.
