Workshop, Tools & Action Plan
Our compliance workshop will provide delegates with a clear detailed picture of the legislation and how it can be applied in a practical way. Delegates will leave with a compliance action plan on the specialist topic and also learn about any other support and reassurance we can provide.
Content
Have you survived 25th May 2018 but still recognise that your organisation is not fully compliant? The data protection legislation is evolving all of the time including the DPA 2018 being passed on 23rd May 2018 and further guidance from the Information Commissioners Office being issued.
This session is appropriate for those that have not attended a previous 3C’s Workshop as a similar overview of GDPR will be provided but with the addition of any new data protection developments. The session will include:
- How to decide who is the processor and controller.
- The legal basis for processing and controlling personal data.
- Privacy notices.
- What technical measures to put into place.
- How to avoid and deal with breaches and third party suppliers.
The workshop will help you understand what you should be doing to comply with the legislation. The session will be interactive with opportunity for delegates to share relevant queries and come away with an action plan and a list of documents you need to have in place.

The event is aimed at anyone responsible for personal data such as managers and supervisory in HR; Finance and Marketing and IT who possess a very basic understanding of data protection legislation.
