I shared with you last month that we were about to welcome additional resource to augment our HR Projects offering. I am delighted to announce that Wendy Ciuffarella, Jill Burgess, Gaynor McIntyre and Norman Howie are joining our HR Projects team with immediate effect and I have attached their abbreviated biographies below.
Wendy Ciuffarella, Associate HR Consultant
Wendy, MCIPD, is a highly experienced HR professional. Wendy holds a MA (Hons) from the University of St Andrews, a postgraduate diploma in Personnel Management and is level A and B qualified in psychometric testing for recruitment.
Wendy started her HR career within banking and fund management before moving into legal services. Wendy headed up the HR Services function of Law At Work for 8 years before joining Navigator as Associate Director – HR Projects, for 6 years. Wendy joined Navigator at an early stage of our development and delivered services in all areas of our business in addition to leading and delivering a number of key HR projects. After time abroad teaching and examining, Wendy most latterly joined Merchiston Castle School, as HR Manager, 2 years ago.
Jill Burgess, Associate HR Consultant
Jill is an experienced strategic HR consultant, Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, senior HR leader, experienced coach, facilitator, and qualified Mental Health First Aider and menopause in the workplace trainer. Jill is also a committee member of the CIPD West of Scotland Branch.
Jill has worked with a diverse range of organisations and clients from all business sectors (including commercial, not for profit, education, customer service, manufacturing, electronics, retail and outsourcing) and has gained experience working both nationally & internationally.
She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in Human Resource management, leadership & management development, team development, employee engagement and wellbeing.
Gaynor McIntyre, Associate Business & HR Consultant
Gaynor graduated from Aberdeen University in 1988 with a MA (Hons) in French and took up a graduate post with ICI Chemicals & Polymers in International Sales and Marketing. She left ICI in 1994 to complete a postgraduate Diploma in HR and then embarked on a career in management consultancy, which she has enjoyed for the last 25 years. Completing her MBA in 1998 Gaynor is a trained business coach, has an ILM Diploma in Business Advice and Counselling and is a chartered member of the MCIPD.
For the last 10 years Gaynor’s main focus has been involved in strategic restructuring and change management, working with businesses in both the private and public sectors. With the ability to get under the skin of any business very quickly she is good at identifying the source issues that need to be addressed if the organisation is to be successful, more profitable and fit for the next stage if its journey.
Norman Howie, Associate HR Consultant
Norman is a highly experienced HR Consultant with significant experience in both public and private sectors, including further and higher education, food and drink, and manufacturing environments. He started his HR career with SSE and then moved to SEPA before going into the consultancy world 2004. He has subsequently become a respected source of specialist and technical HR advice and services to a diverse range of clients.
As a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, his main focus is on generalist HR Operations and Employee Relations; a pragmatic individual who doesn’t look for complex solutions but who prefers common sense, workable and business focused solutions.
As well as our significantly enhanced HR Projects team, we have also refreshed our HR Projects offering to take account of where we see the HR world moving over the coming year. In the spirit of not overloading the content, I will share that refreshed offering with you next week.
