Masterclass: Successfully Manage Stress and Anxiety in your workplace – 16 June 2022

Stress and Anxiety causes many people to lose quality of life. It affects the way we feel, behave, think, interact with others and can be harmful both mentally and physically if left unchecked.

In 2020/21 there were an estimated 822,000 workers in the UK affected by work-related stress or anxiety. This represents 2,480 per 100,000 workers [1] some of whom will work for your organisation.

Attending our webinar will provide you with focused time to understand, consider how to manage and build a positive work culture that improves healthy attendance in your work environment. 

What will it cover?

  • Identify stress related mental health issues in different settings.
  • A deeper understanding of Stress Awareness – causes, contributing factors, triggers, and impact.

  • Employers’ legal responsibilities to manage stress in the workplace.

Who should attend?

This course is suitable for anyone holding a role of responsibility in their workplace, are role models in how culture is actively changed and who are accountable for people management. 

Who will deliver the training?

Gwen Robertson is an accredited Mental Health First Aid trainer for Adults and Young People.  She has extensive experience delivering bespoke training across Scotland in mental health, specifically for the NHS/Public Health Scotland – Healthy Working Lives, SCQF Mental Health First Aid Level 4, 5 & 6 and challenging behavioural courses that support people working with children and young adults who have Additional Support Needs.

Ruth Gladwell has in excess of 20 years experience in providing Human Resources expertise in a variety of workplaces including private, public, third sector  and education.   She is a Fellow of the CIPD and an accredited ILM Mediator.
