Brenda recently joined Navigator as a Legal manager having over 20 years employment law experience. Brenda previously managed the litigation team at RBS/NatWest Mentor. This involved managing all stages of litigation from initial claim or dispute through to resolution, settlement or hearing. Brenda has also appeared in tribunal hearings and has previously worked for ACAS.

Brenda has worked as a Senior Employment Law Consultant dealing with the more complex and tricky aspect of employment law, supporting clients from a broad range of sectors on many and varied employment law and HR issues. Brenda has experience of auditing, updating and drafting employment contracts, handbooks and policies.

Brenda has extensive people management experience having managed large teams of advisors supporting clients through all aspects of the employment journey including disciplinary and grievance issues, performance management, redundancy and TUPE.

Brenda spent some time working for RBS/NatWest leading their Data Culture & Ethics Team and was responsible for shaping how the organisation collected, used and governed its data whilst building a strong ethical data culture amongst the employees. This gave insight into how valuable data can be whether it be in improving business productivity, making smarter decision and improving the customer and staff experience.

Brenda hails from Glasgow, enjoys reading, longs walks, and nice restaurants. She also has three cats.
